Muara Beach is a beautiful beach situated in west part of Bali Island that is in Tabanan Regency
and offering the stunning panorama to the Indian Ocean. The beach with
black sandy beach stretch 500 meter is favored by the big wave that
always challenging every surfer to go for surf adventures. Muara Beach
is one of the best surf spots in Tanah Lot and become one of the best choice surf points in Bali.
This beach is not many visited by tourist yet due to it still the
hidden surf point in the island of god where no many surfers know it
yet. It is only visited by local community in particular during holiday
season for recreation purpose.
This beach is blessed by the breathtaking view of sunset that creates the romantic nuance for every visitor who comes and enjoys the beach. This beach is only suitable for relaxation but it is not suitable for swimming due to the characteristic of waves is very strong current. Muara Beach is come from the name of beach location that is located in the river estuary so that the local people call this beach as Muara Beach (Estuary Beach). But some people also call this beach as Nyanyi Beach where this beach is located in Banjar Nyanyi.

Muara Beach is located in Banjar Nyanyi,
Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency and Bali Province –
Indonesia. This beach is very close with Tanah Lot, the most famous
tourist destinations in Bali Island with the unique Hindu Temple set on
the rock and encircled by the seawater on high tide.This beach is only 20 minutes away from Tabanan Town or 45 minutes from Denpasar Airport. The Muara Beach is also well known as Nyanyi Beach strategically located and close with other famous surf points such as Front Hotel Beach, Tanah Lot Beach and Kedungu Beach.
Best Season for Surfing
Dry season is the best season for surfing at Muara Beach due to the wind flows from the southeast to the west and create the big wave that is ideally for surfing adventures.
