Keramas Beach is a beautiful black sandy beach situated in the east of Denpasar City
which is dealing to the Indian Ocean. This beach is favored by the big
and fast wave that offers more challenges for every surfer to conquer
it and enjoy the surf adventures. Keramas Beach is one of the famous surf points in Bali Island
that many visited by surfers from both foreign countries and local.
The black sand stretch 10 miles from Klungkung Regency to the west
until Padang Galak Beach
is a value edit own by this beach and it is blessed by the beautiful
and romantic view of sunset at the late afternoon. The waves are big,
fast and roll are one of the fascination for surfers to enjoy the surf
adventures and the surfers must take the surf direction from right to
the left which is well known as right-hander.
Keramas Beach Location
Keramas Beach is located in Keramas Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Kabupaten and Bali Province – Indonesia. The name of beach is inspirited from the name of the beach location where the beach is situated that is in Keramas Village.This beach is situated close to other surf points such as Biaung/Lembeng Beach, Padang Galak Beach, Matahari Terbit Beach, Sanur Beach, Segara Beach, Sindhu Beach and Merta Sari Beach. This beach is close to Denpasar City which is only 10 minutes from the Bali’s Province or 30 minutes from Denpasar Airport.
Best Season for Surfing
The best time for surfing at Keramas Beach is during raining season because the wind flows from the west to the east and create the big wave that is suitable for surfing activities.
