No.1. Zhijin Cave(贵州织金洞)
120km away from Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou, is Zhijin Cave(织金洞), the most beautiful cave in China. Zhijin Cave was discovered in 1980. This 6.6km-long cave measures 50m at its highest and 175m at its widest. Its relative height is over 150m. It consists of 3 layers. 40 types of Karst limestone formations of all sizes, shapes and colors grace its 47 halls.

No.2.Hibiscus(Forong) Cave(芙蓉洞) from Chongqing
Feature: Chongqing’s Hibiscus Cave(Furong Cave) is the second most beautiful Karst cave in China, just after Zhijin Cave in Guizhou. If you unfortunately arrive in Chongqing during hot summer (June to Aug), especially during Aug, there is a place where you can escape the scorching sunshine. (As you know, Chong is a disaster during summer, it is unbearably hot).
If you are suspicious of this cave’s splendor, well, it has been enlisted into a UNESCO world heritage site in 2007.

No.3. Yellow Dragon Cave(黄龙洞) of Zhangjiajie
Feature: Huanglong Cave(Dragon Cave黄龙洞), the centerpiece of Zhangjiajie, is famed as the 3rd most beautiful caves in China. The karst landform unique and prevalent to South China, finds the fullest expression here. Expect to see a sea of limestone formations, caves within caves, underground rivers and spacious palace-like dry caves.

No.4. Tenglong Cave(腾龙洞)
Feature: Tenglong Cave consists of a dry cave, the biggest in Asia, and a cave cutting through by a 16.8m-long river, which forms a 23m-high waterfall. It is home to 5 hills, 10 big halls and over 10 underground waterfalls. It can house 800,000 people meanwhile. Its entry elevated at 70m, allows helicopters to flying in. At the entrance, Tujia ethnic costumes are on offer. With a fee of around RMB 10, you can pose for photos, with the cave as the background. There is only a smattering of stalactites and stalagmites inside. Walking for 20min, you will see a grand theatre. Amazing, isn’t it. Pick a seat and treat yourself to the highest standard of Tujia ethnic songs, dances and operas. The average temperature ranges from 14一18℃. No snakes inside.

Feature: At 1644m long, Snow Jade Cave combines natural spectacles with beguiling Tujia ethnic customs. Snow Jade Cave is in her teenage period. A sea of milky white, jade-like stalactites and stalagmites draw visitors from near and far. In terms of quality, quantity and scale, they are unmatched worldwide. Waters here are super pure, which is rich in benefiting minerals, and the air is super fresh, which is rich in oxygen.

What to see in Benxi Water Cave?
Water Cave: Stretching 5800m long, Water Cave spans 36000 sq m2. The bay can shelter over 40 boats. The underground river is the longest navigable one on earth. The boat tour lasts for 40min. Keep your eyes peeled off for the amazing limestone formations.
Dry Cave: At 300m long, Dry Cave is star-studded with limestone formations of all sizes and shapes.
