Top 10 Desert Tourist Zones in China, NO.9 - Xiangshawan, Inner Mongolia
Xiangshawan means the crying desert in Chinese. When sand is sliding down from the top of a sand dune, it sounds like the sand is crying. For thousands of years, nobody can explain why this happens, but lots of stories generated from this phenomenon.
